Meet Cindy
Cindy Noe always knew that what happened at the Statehouse and in Washington impacted her family and her business, so she has a long history of involvement to make sure the impact was good. She engaged in advocacy from many perspectives. From Leadership Council Member at the National Federation of Independent Business and Indiana Chamber of Commerce involvement, to completing both the Indiana Leadership Forum and Lugar Series, being a precinct committeewoman, and affiliating with several pro-family organizations, Cindy worked hard for those things she believed.
Cindy was surprised and honored when folks who had seen her in action came to her and asked her to run for State Representative in District 87. The opportunity to become a lawmaker and influence public policy in Indiana was well timed. The business she had started was now a well established, ISO-9000 certified, regionally based company.
By this time Cindy also had multiple grandchildren and she knew she liked being a hands-on grandma – someone who didn’t have to get on a plane to visit, but could see them lots, right here. That meant Indiana had to have a strong economy so her kids could find good employment and make wise, commonsense decisions to stay in Indiana. That’s her motivation and mission at the statehouse. AND, if it works for Cindy’s kids and grandchildren – then it works for all of Indiana. We are moving towards being a state where not only our Indiana kids, but more folks will want to live. We are zeroing in on a growing and robust economy, in a good and wholesome place.
Cindy Noe envisions the day when Indiana will no longer be known as “FLY-OVER” COUNTRY, but rather, “FLY-TO” COUNTRY. We’re well on our way.
